Doctor of Chiropractic & Owner
Dr. Dhillon has practiced at McLeod Chiropractic for almost 22 years since opening the clinic on December 02nd, 1998. He is also a long time resident of North Kildonan where he resides with his wife Sandy and their two children, son Sartaj and daughter Armaan.
Dr. Dhillon's approach to chiropractic care for his patients has always been to tell his patients the truth in regards to their health. His approach is to provide patients what they need as opposed to what they want. Some patients will access our office for what they call a "quick crack" without understanding the full nature of their condition. There is no "quick crack" at McLeod Chiropractic. A comprehensive history, examination, and X-ray analysis are performed and then a detailed report of findings is provided to the patient answering three fundamental questions a patient will have:
"What's wrong with me?"
"How long will this take to correct?"
"How much will this cost me?"
At that point, it is now up to the patient to consider their options given the information provided. No two patient's conditions are alike and there is consequently no cookie-cutter approach to their individual chiropractic care. There is no pressure tactics, no hand-sell, or repeated calls to your home if you decide not to seek care. Not everyone is ready to initiate care, which is ok. But at least they have a better understanding of what has been causing their disease or current health concern. For those ready to initiate care, Dr. Dhillon provides 100% attention and focus on your care. Once stability has been achieved with your condition, Dr. Dhillon's attention will focus on wellness or maintenance care to prevent your condition from returning again. Our experience has been that those patients who participate in wellness care have fewer exacerbations and aggravations of the original condition that brought you to our office.
For those patients involved in a motor vehicle-related accident or work-related accident, our office can communicate with either MPI or WCB to initiate chiropractic care. A medical doctor's referral or physician's note is not required by MPI or WCB to access chiropractic care. You can directly access chiropractic care. Dr. Dhillon can also prove the information to these agencies in regard to time loss from work, loss of income, any specialized tests that may be required, or referrals to other practitioners that may be required. We know during any injury there can be hardships one may endure both physically and financially. Our goal is to help ease that burden to get you on the road to recovery.
